September: The United States Air Force in Europe (USAFE) have awarded a two year support contract to CAS. This contract is for the support and maintenance of the EPICCCS Command and Control System currently in use at the Multinational Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactics Facility (MAEWTF) at Polygone in Germany. CAS have been involved at Polygone since the mid 1980's and this contract is continued affirmation of the high standards which CAS are able to bring to the USAF.

September: The United States Air Force in Europe (USAFE) have awarded a contract, to CAS, for the procurement, development and installation of a base wide intranet system. This system will be used by United States, French and German Air Force personnel stationed at the Multinational Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactics Facility (MAEWTF) at Polygone in Germany.

September: The Computer Users Information Service (CUIS) have placed a contract, with CAS, for the support and maintenance of their advanced Customer Relationship Management system (RAPID).

September: CAS are delighted to announce that Paisley, Dundee and Napier Universities have all placed contracts with CAS for the support and maintenance of their pre-registration nurse administration systems.

June: The UK Ministry of Defence have requested that CAS carry out a feasibility study to determine the best way to address a technical problem with one of the US supplied threat simulators currently in use at RAF Spadeadam. This threat simulator, one of the most advanced in the UK, is, however, expensive to maintain and CAS have been asked to investigate ways to reduce the maintenance costs.

April: The Computer Users Information Service (CUIS), which deals with IT companies throughout the UK, have instructed CAS to develop a complex Customer Relationship Management tool called RAPID. Dave Wells, CAS Managing Director, is delighted by the decision to place the order with CAS as it is confirmation of the high standards which CAS is able to apply in the development of business critical systems.

March: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary have placed an order for the CAS Course Administration to help with the administration of post-registration nurse training. CAS Technical Manager, Simon Laxton, expressed his delight with the order as it represents the first time that the product has been used for post-registration (as opposed to pre-registration) administration.

March: Brian Irvine, the Edinburgh based legal accountants has placed an order with CAS for the Support and Maintenance of their accounting system. This system, developed by a 3rd party specifically for Brian Irvine, is a business critical system and CAS are delighted to be able to offer support and assistance.

March: The Clyde Submarine Base at Faslane have renewed their support contract with CAS. This contract is for the Support and Maintenance of their, CAS developed, Financial Information and Budgeting System and is used by budget holders throughout the Engineering and Works Services department at the base.

February: CAS have been awarded a contract to develop their Gunfire Noise Analysis Tool (GNAT) for operational use at the Salisbury Plain Training Area. The enhancements include the addition of new gun types plus the ability to define gun firing and target positions more flexibly. CAS Managing Director, Dave Wells, is delighted that the product is to be fielded at Salisbury Plain as this is the first time that noise has been actively "managed" on a live firing range. It is expected that deploying the product will lead to a significant reduction in the number of noise related complaints from local residents.

February: CAS have been awarded a contract to provide assistance to Renishaw PLC. This company, located on the Heriot-Watt Research Park, is a world leader in automated technology for manufacturing and research. CAS will provide expertise to help develop software to enable field engineers to calibrate complex measuring equipment.
