September: CAS are delighted to announce that Bell College has placed a contract with CAS for the support and maintenance of their pre-registration nurse administration systems.
June: CAS are delighted to announce that Robert Gordon's University has placed a contract with CAS for the support and maintenance of their pre-registration nurse administration systems.
June: The United States Air Force in Europe (USAFE) have awarded a contract, to CAS, for the development of a real time replay system for aircrew users of the Multinational Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactics Facility (MAEWTF) at Polygone in Germany. This system will allow aircrew users to replay their mission immediately after they land and, thus, enhance the value of the training.
June: CAS is pleased to announce a collaborative project with the Offshore Systems Laboratory at Heriot-Watt University.
June: CAS is delighted to announce the appointment of Scott Frater who will become the Resident Maintenance Engineer at the Multinational Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactics Facility (MAEWTF) at Polygone in Germany. Scott is an ex-RAF Air Traffic Controller and his experience will be invaluable in supporting one of CAS' main strategic customer at Polygone.
May: CAS are pleased to announce that Wood Group Turbines has placed an order with CAS for the integration of measuring equipment. This equipment, which measures the weight of turbine blades, is a crucial part of the company manufacturing process.
April: CAS is pleased to announce that Heriot-Watt University Department of Mathematics has requested CAS help in the development of it's computer based learning software. CAS Managing Director, Dave Wells, is delighted with the project as this is first time that CAS have actually undertaken work for the University.
March: The UK Ministry of Defence have requested that CAS carry out a study to determine the feasibility of upgrading the SPICCCS Command and Control System currently in use at RAF Spadeadam. The SPICCCS system has been in operation since 1992 and the main aim of the study is to determine what, if any, of the system hardware can be replaced by new commercial off the shelf equipment.
March: The Scottish National War Memorial (SNWM) has placed a contract with CAS for the development of a website. The SNWM, which is based at Edinburgh Castle, maintains the definitive roll of Scottish war dead and hopes to promote itself, and its services, via the world wide web.
March: The Scottish Borders Council has placed a contract with CAS for the support and maintenance of their Criminal Justice System. CAS Managing Director, Dave Wells, is delighted with this contract as it, once again, demonstrates that CAS is a front runner in the provision of support for business critical systems.
February: The UK Ministry of Defence have requested that CAS carry out a study to determine the feasibility of integrating a number of East German weapon systems at RAF Spadeadam. These systems, which are Surface to Air Missile (SAM) and Anti-Aircraft Artillery (AAA) systems are all radar controlled and will be used to provide additional threat training at the RAF Spadeadam Range.
